MAC Mineralise Moisture SPF 15 Foundation – Review

The natural satin finish makes skin appear refined, refreshed and lit from within.

A combination of powders in this cream-gel emulsion formula creates an optical blurring effect that virtually diminishes imperfections and fine lines for a more even tone. The light-reflecting, natural satin finish and sheer to medium buildable coverage make skin appear refined, revitalized and refreshed with a new purity, softly lit from within.

This is the first and only Mac foundation in my collection 🙂 Because of acne issues, I use a lot of drying creams that make my skin looks so cracky. So I always pick up foundation that suits dry skin, this is what they recommend me at the Mac counter. It has a very light weight watery consistency and as you can see from the name, it comes with a SPF of 15. Available in 22 shades, Mine is the shade NC44, it is very slightly darker for me now so I use a little lighter shade compact to balance it.

The foundation comes in a hard glass bottle with a black cap and inbuilt pump. It blends naturally and feels so light on the skin. It gives a dewy and natural finish (blended in below picture) with ingredients such as Shea Butter and Vitamin E in it. The coverage is only light to medium so don’t expect this to cover black spots. Even after I powdered my face, it starts to oily within like 3 hours  and clings to dry patches, also around the nose. Dermatologist tested.
