Summer Favourites From Revlon

Can you see My love for Revlon through this picture ? ❤ Mentioning two of my summer favourites that keeps me going and saves my oily face.

Revlon Photoready Prime + Antishine Balm :

This multi use balm can be worn alone, under or over makeup to prime and smooth skin and to eliminate shine. It erases the look of pores and imperfections for a perfected look.

The primer comes in a long compact with a sponge applicator inside. It was not hard as I thought, very easy to use. I changed the sponge after using both the ends of the sides, after single use. The primer looks white in colour in the compact, but clear on the skin. It is a silicone primer in a balm version which fill pores, fine lines and wrinkles and provides a even base for the foundation.

My Oily skin loves silicone primers to keep itself matt and pore less. The primer eliminates the imperfections and also pores for a smooth base and shine free look. It keeps me matt for 3 hours and blurs out imperfections, minimise the look of pores. It can also be used over makeup to reduce shine but I prefer good old compacts only.

Revlon Colorstay Pressed Powder :

ColorStay jet-milled formula for ultra-fine, lightweight texture helps to minimize shine and creates a fresh, flawless finish that lasts for up to 16 hours over makeup. Lightweight and comfortable, this powder lasts all day without drying or caking.

The powder comes in a black compact with 2 compartments, one with the powder and other side with a mirror and a sponge. I personally love the Revlon’s colorstay foundation and concealer already, now this compact too. The Compact Powder is available in 6 shades : Fair, Light, Light/Medium, Medium, Medium Deep, Translucent.

The powder has no coverage, I have in the shade Medium. It is infused with plant extracts like Lily, Orchid & Silk to condition and soothe skin. The powder has no fragrance.  It is finely milled and feels very light on the skin, no caky feeling. This has been my go to setting powder for the past few weeks and keeps me matt for 4 hours atleast, after that touch up helps.

You can find Revlon products at Lifestyle, Max, Boots, Carrefour, Lulu, HyperPanda, Spinneys, Geant.

  1. That powder sounds amazing! I’ve tried out the colorstay liquid foundation (my first ever revlon purchase – and an all around great buy) so I’m happy to see that the powder is pretty swaqqy too!
