Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation – Review

Just as the name of the foundation, it is really a “match perfection” one. I would say, this is the one i found perfectly matched to my skin. yes ! I have other foundations too. actually after started using this foundation, i do find them (very) slightly darker.

If you are a person with tan or Dark skin toneΒ , You know how hard it is to find a perfect drugstore foundation. they always have the shades for fair skin and deep skintonetone. They forget us every time πŸ˜‰

If you are person with brown, Indian skin tone and looking for a good drugstore option, you should check Rimmel match perfection foundation. Now it is my new holy grail foundation.

Product Claim :

  • Weightless invisible coverage
  • Visibly Pore less, Picture-perfect skin
  • 24 hour hydration
  • skin perfected, protected

It comes in a 30 ml glass bottle with a blue coloured plastic Cap and a pump. As always, one pump is enough for my face πŸ™‚ The first thing i noticed immediately after i started to spread foundation on my face is the fragrance. I really liked it.

The foundation comes in 8 shades

  • Ivory
  • Soft Beige
  • Classic Beige
  • Natural Beige
  • True Nude
  • Noisette
  • Mocha
  • Deep Mocha

My shade is “Noisette”. This foundation comes with SPF 18. It is another good thing for me, as i don’t like to wear seperate sunscreen because of the white cast it leaves.

The foundation gives a natural dewy/ satin finish but not like looking oily. The texture of the foundation is very creamy. Actually this is a better find for dry to normal to skin because it is very hydrating and does not cling to dry patches. Even i have oily skin but it worked for me without making me oily, i powdered the T-zone for safety πŸ˜‰ The coverage is medium and you can build it up.

Now coming to the staying power, I am not a person who wears makeup full day long. To me, the longest duration even does not cross 5 hours and it passed the five hours test. so i am really happy about this foundation ❀ and i recommend this foundation especially to dry skin ladies.

It costs 62 AED. Rimmel products available in Lifestyle, Max, Boots and Carrefour.

  2. Hi. This is a good review. Can you share your MAC studio fix shade just for my reference. I am NC43 and i wonder if this shade in Rimmel Match Perfection would be correct for me. Or if i should go for one shade lighter – bronze.
